Our club is this year’s host to the U.S. Jr. Women’s Doublehanded National Championship, competing for the Ida Lewis Trophy.
As a national event host SYC will be taking the spotlight this summer as we transform our club and community into race HQ for the 34 to 40 double-handed teams comprised of the top racers in the nation among US Jr. women sailors.
SYC member Melissa Mooney has stepped up to serve as Regatta Chair for what is going to be the biggest racing event at the club since we sailed the America’s Cup boats.
